Striatolamna macrota

This lovely tooth is from an extinct species of shark. This tooth is of large size and has nice detail with wonderful grey/blue lustred crown and shiney enamel, being 41mm or 1 5/8 inches height. It is Upper Eocene age circa 43 million years old and comes from the Barton Beds of Highcliff, Hampshire, UK. Supplied labelled and in an attractive display box.
