This is a very large and good quality Russian Drawing set - 3ABOA,Tomo Banbhr, MOCKBA, (see photos for detail), circa 1960s.

It comes in a fabric wrapped wooden case with black velvet lined inside, containing a large quality of chrome plated drawing instruments, including beam compass with extension arms, two large compasses, two medium compasses, two spring compasses, an adjustable ruling pen, two parallel ruling pens, a drop point ink compass, two more ruling pens, push pin centres, adjustment tool and many inserts etc,.

The name of the maker is marked on the top of the case. 'TB' is also marked on the compasses and the adjustable ruling pen. As far as I can see it is a complete set aprt from one compass which is marked 'Maho'. It is a very good replacement, the shape and material  are very similar to the TB. I didn't even notice it untill taking the photos. A good match, indeed.


I have to say, this is a largest and heaviest drawing set I've ever come across. the case is also in very good condition, only a tiny piece (1cm) of the fabric torn at the end of the case which is where I can see the wood.

The case measures approx. 12 1/4 x 9 x 2 inches (335 x 228 x 50 mm).


 No reserve on this attractive and practical drawing set.
