 I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT, THERE IS A CLIP MISSING WHERE THE SLIDE GOES, WHEN YOU LOOK INTO THE TOP OF THE MICROSCOPE THERE IS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A BIT OF DIRT, THERE ARE A FEW AGE RELATED SCUFF MARKS ON IT BUT ALL THE KNOBS TURN VERY EASY, IT STANDS APPROX 14 1/2" TALL
