Well we have another little (or large!!) treat for you here

A wonderful old vintage enamelled metal Brooke Bond Tea sign

This beauty was originally used and came from an old welsh corner shop on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales

You will notice that overall this is in super condition for its age but there are signs of rust around the black and white edge...guess all that steam from the kettle may not have helped (laughing) but we feel this certainly adds to its authentic charm!!

This is quite a size measuring 20 inches x 30 inches

The Brooke Bond company was founded by Arthur Brooke who was born in Lancashire in 1845...he opened his first tea shop in 1869 in Manchester.....There is not a "Mr Bond" in the company...Arthur Brooke added the name bond simply because he thought it sounded good!!!!

Today Unilever own this brand.....how times have changed!!!

Overall a lovely vintage piece which would look amazing in any kitchen...and what a talking point when your neighbours pop in for a cuppa .....talking of which off to put the kettle on myself!!!!
