All of our furniture is handmade from reclaimed, recycled and coppiced wood without the use of nails or screws: no forests are harmed in the process. Each piece of wood is unique and so all of our pieces are as individual as the trees they're made from.

At Sylvantutch we make furniture that is 100% wood, nothing but trees. Our furniture has a rustic style – that's because we want to keep the original character of the tree as much as possible.
We think trees are beautiful just the way they are and, as you can see, our furniture isn't perfectly straight and smooth – it's twisted and knobbly and individual, just like the trees we make it from.

Payment should be received within 7 days of winning the auction - we accept:

Delivery
We use a specialised delivery company to post throughout the UK. Delivery should take no longer than 10 days, delivery to some parts of Europe may take up to 3 weeks.
Returns & Damaged Goods
We operate a 14 Day No Quibble Returns Policy.
You can return the item for any reason within 14 days as long as you contact us in writing (email, fax or letter) before you return it (to arrange the return).

About Sylvantutch
Sylvantutch is a family run business that started in Africa 10 years ago, in the Wilderness area of South Africa, where we were living in the foothills of the Outeniqua mountains. We set up shop in the UK in 2006, gambling everything on a unit in Corris Craft Centre in Mid-Wales. Corris is officially the second wettest place in Europe, which took some getting used to, but we're surrounded by trees, and they do love rain . . .
We didn't know if the business would work in Wales, but we figured it was worth a try. It was the Centre for Alternative Technology that drew us to the area, but we soon fell in love with the hills, the views and, of course, the trees. We've met a lot of really great people here, and we've worked really hard to make the business a success.
We believe in what were doing, which helps a lot. We make furniture that lasts. The ethics of products matters to us: the longer something lasts, the less we consume, and the less we waste. We take our inspiration from the natural world and waste is, after all, a human invention.
We want to take less, give back more, and make beautiful things... simple.
