A VERY IMPRESSIVE LARGE COMBINATION ROBE THAT DATES FROM THE EDWARDIAN ERA AT THE START OF THE 20TH CENTURY

IT HAS A SECRETAIRE DROP FRONT DRAWER INSIDE THE MAIN ROBE AREA GIVING A USEFUL WRITING AREA WHICH COULD BE USED FOR USING/STORAGE OF A LAPTOP

THIS IS AN TALL WARDROBE AT 100 INCHES(8 FT 4 INCHES) HIGH WITH THE CORNICE ON AND 90 INCHES WITHOUT

THERE ARE PANELLED DOORS IN GOLDEN COLOURED SOLID WALNUT THAT ARE 1.5 INCHES THICK

THERE IS A CHEST OF 3 OVER 2 + 2 DRAWERS IN THE BASE SECTION OF THE ROBE. THE BASE IS 30 INCHES HIGH AND THE DRAWERS ARE ALL IN GOLDEN WALNUT

THE WARDROBE BEING SO TALL DOES LOOK GOOD WITHOUT A CORNICE. THE CORNICE IS NOT THE ORIGINAL ONE BUT IS OF THE SAME AGE. IT IS NOT QUITE DEEP ENOUGH TO REACH THE BACK EDGE OF THE WARDROBE BUT AGAIN BEING SO HIGH WOULD NOT BE THAT NOTICEABLE

INSIDE THE MAIN BODY OF THE ROBE THERE IS A MULTITUDE OF STORAGE SPACE. ALONG THE TOP THERE ARE 2 SHELF AREAS

DOWN THE RIGHT SIDE THERE ARE 2 LINEN TRAY DRAWERS THAT ARE 19 INCHES WIDE BY 19 INCHES DEEP AND 7 INCHES HIGH

UNDER THOSE ARE 4 OPEN SHELF AREAS THAT ARE 10 INCHES WIDE BY 21 INCHES DEEP AND HEIGHTS ARE 8 AND 13 INCHES DEEP

AT THE BOTTOM THERE IS THE LARGE DROP FRONT SECRETAIRE DRAWER. IT IS 51 INCHES WIDE BY 28.5 INCHES DEEP WITH DRAWER FRONT DOWN. THE HEIGHT FROM THE GROUND IS 31.5 INCHES

IT HAS GOOD QUALITY BRASS HINGES AND BRASS BUTTON RELEASE MECHANISM. THERE ARE RECESSED BRASS HANDLES

THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROBE HAS 2 HANGING AREAS. THE ONE ABOVE THE SECRETAIRE DRAWER HAS A BRASS HANGING BAR WITH 3 HOOKS AND AREA OF 28.5 INCHES WIDE BY 21.5 INCHES DEEP AND 38 INCHES HIGH

THE LEFT HANGING AREA HAS A BRASS HANGING BAR AND IS 15 INCHES WIDE BY 21 INCHES DEEP AND 49 INCHES HIGH

THE UPPER DRAWERS IN THE CHEST ARE 21 INCHES WIDE BY 21 INCHES DEEP AND 4 INCHES HIGH

THE MIDDLE DRAWERS ARE 31.5 INCHES WIDE BY 21 INCHES DEEP AND 7.25 INCHES HIGH. THE BOTTOM ONES ARE 8 INCHES HIGH 

THE WARDROBE IS IN GOOD SOLID CONDITION WITH A FEW LIGHT USAGE MARKS. THERE ARE REPAIRED CHIPS TO THE VENEER ON THE REAR SIDE CORNERS OF THE MAIN BODY
