DISCOVERY 2.0 MPI This is an auction for my 2.0 mpi disco As you can see from the pics she is in great nick, i have had a few discos and have never seen one with so little rust as this one, which is why i bought it She has alloys all round which are in very good nick as are the tyres which are BF goodrich A/T with loads of tread left The engine is the much maligned 2.0 petrol which everybody who either havn't had one or driven one seem to slag off, well as far as i am concerned and i have had all three different engined discos these engines are fab, you have more bhp than the Tdi and is a lot smoother and quieter to drive also giving the same mpg about 26 to the gallon, and if you decide to go lpg you will enjoy high 40's which you don't get from the V8 The engine is the rover T series 800 which is 16 valve twin cam, this has recently had the problematic oil leak sorted which involved removal of the cylinder head which was skimmed uprated head gasket kit and also has had a new cam belt, tensioner and idlers plus a full service, so no worries it's all done The interior is in great nick apart from the usual drivers seat thing,see pics, all the electric items work surprisingly, she also has privacy tints on all the rear windows which is great if you have a dog like us because it keeps it cooler inside and also stops people noticing whats in the back, there is no problem seeing through from the inside She is going for an mot on monday which i expect it to pass but if not any work will be completed before the auction end, so will be full 12 mths mot Other items i can think of are, great exhaust, tow bar, cd player, twin sunroof, land meter, seven seater, A few bad points, front bumper has light surface rust see pics, o/s headlight inside reflector a bit dodgy i don't think it effects the mot but we will see, drivers seat, if i think of anything else i will add it later, All in this is a great car which drivers great and is quite rare, i have most parts of an lpg kit for the car which you can buy seperately if you wish I can't think of anything else but if you need anymore info please feel free to contact me GOOD NEWS SHE PASSED THE MOT NOW IT RUNS OUT 27TH NOV 2010 HAPPY BIDDING |
