CITY OF LANCASTER - Official Guide - 1958

This guide consists of 108 pages of local information and history and industries, including a foldout detailed street plan. Photos of buildings, streets, housing estates etc. Lots of interesting information on local industries and local business adverts inc Middleton Tower Holiday Camp (Morecambe) plus a photo of Waring & Gillow lorries - very good local industry history. Very nice informative guide.

Issued by authority of the Lancaster City Council, dated 1958 on title page.  

Stiff card covered booklet, 108 pages plus cover, size approx 18cm x 24cm. Overall good condition, clean, contents good, corners good, stitched/glued spine tight. Slight edge curl to laminated cover. Very nice. Heavy item so the P&P included is a bit more than usual.

An excellent item for the local historian, family history researcher and collector.
