This is a KT-135 superregenerative receiver that was built in the mid-1960's. I restored the radio and updated the caps so it performs like it did when it was built. No other modifications were made. It is all original except for the line cord and electrolytic capacitors. I removed the "leatherette" covering and finished the original wood case. Aside from some very minor nicks, the face is near perfect. I tested it this morning and received Radio Japan and a WWV. All coils are built-in, with bandswitch. I built one of these in 1965, it was my first Shortwave radio. This is not a high performance radio.
