Ladies Victorian/Civil War black taffeta mourning dress in UK size 14 (US size 12, European size 44). To fit bust 38" (97cm), waist 30" (76cm), hip 41" (104cm). This dress comes in three pieces and includes:

BLOUSE: A black taffeta Leg of Mutton style blouse, fastened at the back with clear buttons. Trimmed with black lace around the high, stiffened neck and sleeve.
SASH: black taffeta measuring approx. 140" in length which will tie at the back.
SKIRT: In black taffeta with a sweep of approx. 177", and a length of approx. 44" (can be made shorter on request.)

The skirt is displayed over a 6-hoop petticoat which is not available with this sale, it would also look good worn over a 3 hoop petticaot which is available in our eBay shop. It could be worn without a hoop if you prefer, with just a petticoat, this is also available in our eBay shop.

We recommend this particular costume as suitable for a variety of periods including Victorian & Edwardian and has a wide range of uses. It is perfect for
