Yak Board shorts

A Technically advanced pair of board shorts.

At first glance these board shorts look like just a nice pair of shorts. BUT under the outer cover is an inner 2mm pair of neoprene wetsuit  shorts. So if you do get wet, the inner neoprene will keep you nice and warm. On a standard pair of shorts, when wet they cling to your skin and drop your body temperature as the wind blows across the fabric.

But not with the Yak board shorts

Now for the clever bit.  The Yak board shorts outer cover is wind proof thus cutting down on heat loss. It is also breathable and hydrophyllic allowing the shorts to expel water vapour at a controlled rate (780g/sm/24hrs).

If on the other hand the board shorts are covered in water spray, the outer layer is completely waterproof (hydrostatic head 5000mm) thus keeping you 100% dry and 100% warm.

The board shorts are durable too, Combining the inherent strength of nylon in a ripstop weave, (70D x 160D/127T x 76T, 2x1mm)  for a highly flexible yet wear resistant ripstop outer.
