A FINE SET OF 5 VALUES, 1d to 1/- IN APPARENTLY UNMOUNTED MINT CONDITION WITH LOVELY COLOURS. PERFS. & GUM.  A COUPLE OF MINOR GUM BENDS DO NOT DETRACT FROM THIS UNUSUAL SET. THE 4d VALUE HAS SOME VERY SLIGHT TONING DOWN THE LH SIDE.  SEE SCANS FOR OVERALL CONDITION.

I BELIEVE THESE TO BE LATE 19th CENTURY FORGERIES, PROBABLY BY THE SPIRO BROTHERS BUT THESE ALONE ARE WORTH COLLECTING !!
