HOPE ALL YOU GUYS WATCHING CHECK BACK FOR THIS -
BIKE IS RUNNING, FRESH PETROL (NOW COMES WITH FULL TANK!!) AND A BIT OF WORK WITH THE KICKSTART AND IT GOES
- HOWEVER -
BACK BRAKE WILL NEED ATTENTION, VERY HARD TO PUSH AND TAKES ABOUT 4000RPM TO MOVE OFF - THERES A GUY ON HERE AT THE MOMENT WITH ONE FOR £20 INCLUDING POSTAGE SO COULD BE AN EASY FIX
RELISTED DUE TO BIDDER CHANGING MIND - PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT PAY OR COLLECT - NO PAYMENT NO BIKE
NO RESERVE THIS MUST GO!!
MAIN PICTURE, THIS IS THE ACTUAL BIKE FOR SALE BUT IS 6 MONTHS OLD
OTHER PICTURES UPLOADED - THEY SHOW THE FULL EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE FROM DROPPING!!
KYMCO SPACER 125 - Orange - NEW tyres front and rear, NEW drivebelt, upgraded halogen headlight has not been started in 3 months so may need trailering, starter motor turns but I think the petrol has either gone off or run out!! Bike worked perfectly on the day it was parked up.
This was a top of the range scooter have receipt from 1999 at £2300 - it even has a light in the huge under seat compartment!!! Still has original manual, keyfob etc.!!! Also has a spare key.
Purchased to commute to work in November - not used since January due to new job - this bike never missed a beat during the whole time I have had it and started from the electric start even on a -7degree morning!!!!
Dropped and lefthand mirror broke - mount still intact, still have the mirror housing, only the glass broke, small crack to plastics but nothing major.
Rides and drives superbly, used to commute 75miles a day on it, very comfortable - 75mph top speed. Electric and kick start, completely overhauled by the local scooter shop in December.
Still has MoT (just - see note below), 11 months tax etc. V5 present sold with spare handlebars, rear master cylinder and lever - only bought because they were going cheap on eBay!!
PLEASE NOTE SHORT AUCTION AS MOT RUNS OUT ON 23rd MAY (NEXT FRIDAY), SHOULD PASS WITH FLYING COLOURS - JUST TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST THE BACK BRAKE IS A LITTLE TIGHT AND MAKES IT HARDER THAN NORMAL TO PUSH WITHOUT ENGINE RUNNING - SHOULD BE A SIMPLE ADJUSTMENT TO FIX, BUT I'M NOT MECHANICALLY MINDED, IF IT DOES NEED REPLACING SEEN THEM ON EBAY FOR ABOUT £30.
PRICE REFLECTS CURRENT CONDITION - THE SERVICE 2 NEW TYRES AND DRIVEBELT COST AROUND £100, THE HANDLEBAR MUFFS ARE UNIVERSAL AND WERE £30, THE COVER WAS ANOTHER £15 AT MOST THIS WILL COST ANOTHER £35 TO MOT AND I HAVE JUST FOUND A REPLACEMENT REAR CALIPER ON EBAY FOR £20 IF IT NEEDS IT.
GREAT SUMMER RUN AROUND - I'M 28, THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS ABOUT THE SAME, COST ABOUT £100 TO INSURE, £15 A YEAR TAX, AND DID ABOUT 100 MILES TO £6 OF PETROL.
HIT BUY IT NOW AND COLLECT THIS WEEKEND NO PROBLEMS, STILL ROAD LEGAL FOR ANOTHER WEEK!!
Sale also includes bike cover, handlebar muffs and some brand new brake pads (not sure if they are front or rear, local scooter shop said brakes were fine and new pads came with the bike. Also includes a set of handlebars with brake levers and master cylinders as these were going cheap on eBay (I like to have some spares!!).
Cash on collection more than welcome - if you want to view email me - bear in mind you may need to trailer away as has not been started in 3 months, but could be a ride away bargain with a few quids worth of petrol.
This bike was huge in Europe, known there as the Kymco Dink!!
Have just checked V5 - ONLY 2 PREVIOUS OWNERS - Have original sales receipt for £2395 in 1999
First registered 1999 - T Reg - Some previous history - current V5 and MOT.
