The Kristal XL-930 Electric Reel System is the MOST POWERFUL Reel we sell. The Kristal XL-930 is "OMG" POWERFUL This is a VERY VERY serious piece of equipment. Think about this...If you never take the rod out of the rod holder when you are reeling up a fish with an electric reel...why buy a separate Deep Drop Rod..????? This reel will crank up ABSOLUTELY WHATEVER you got the nerve to stay with!!!! The changeable spools make for a rapid line change. We use 100 - 400 pound Spectra or Dyneema braid. You can find that braid elsewhere in our store. The XL930 has an emergency stop button. That can be pretty dang important if someone has screwed up and has a hook in the hand. Make sure all your knots and connectors are good because this reel will break all of it... if it can be broken. We like the Kristals better than all the other electric reels we own.
