We are pleased to offer the Kood brand of filters to all our customers, as Photographers we use and recommend them.
These Netural Density (ND) filters are used to reduce the amount of light reaching your sensor or film.
They simply cut down the light without affecting anything else. All the colours and the overall look of the scene etc remains the same.
Very useful in bright conditions where you need to cut down the light to allow you to use the shutter speed or aperture size you want to throw the background out of focus but the scene is too bright to allow you to do so.
ND is also very useful to get a slow shutter speed to blur moving water and similar scenes.
ND 8 filters give a light reduction of 3 stops
ND 4 filters give a light reduction of 2 stops.
