Solid Pine Free-standing Kitchen Pantry Unit. Handmade Using Sustainable Timber.  Painted in Farrow and Ball or Fired Earth Paint.

This freestanding pantry unit is designed to give a large amount of versatile storage space. The doors are made with a square moulded frame and a raised fielded panel which match the island and kitchen base units. There are adjustable shelves in the middle of the door sections allowing you to store large items, like cereal packets, or small items, like spice jars, as you wish.  The drawers have dovetail joints and tongue and groove bases.  The back, which will be against a wall, is made using tongue and groove boards.  Inside the upper doors are spice racks to allow for smaller jars and spices to be stored easily.

The door knobs are finished with a liquid wax oil, this gives a hard wearing surface.

Please bear in mind that this is a large piece of furniture and you should really check your access before ordering. We can also make this unit as a split piece with an upper and lower section in the same manner as the larger pantry in our shop. This unit is listed seperately in our Ebay shop.

We can build these units to you requirements and the final two photographs show a narrower version with an open section for a mircowave shelf and a narrower version of the normal layout. Both of these pantries had Shaker style knobs at additional cost.

Our painted furniture has knotting solution, 2 coats of International primer, and 2 coats of F&B oil eggshell and this gives a lovely quality finish.   All of our furniture is handmade using solid timber including the back and the bases of the drawers.  Please refer to our "All About Me" page for an up to date leadtime. 

Furniture Quality

Each piece of furniture is made from start to finish by the same qualified and highly skilled cabinet maker.  All drawers are dovetailed and all fixing holes are plugged with pine cores.  The furniture is hand waxed using the highest quality Bri-wax to achieve a good sheen.  Bases of drawers and the backs of cabinets are fitted using tongue and groove.  Our attention to detail and pride in our furniture shows, ebay prices are very keen and you are buying a quality item at a very good price.  There is a lot of foreign imported furniture on e-bay and cheap honey coloured lacquered pine.  We are one of the few small companies using quality timber and wax, traditional methods and we are literally on the edge of Exmoor.  Our furniture is built to last.  We offer a bespoke service on any items.  If you see something in our shop and want to alter the dimensions, number of drawers etc… there is no extra cost for the service we just adapt the price to reflect the timber and labour costs.  Equally if you have an item in mind which is not in our shop- please contact us with basic requirements and sizes for us to work up some drawings for you.  We aim to please our customers and will respond to your emails on a daily basis.  We look forward to hearing you and answering any questions that you may have.

Order Detail

Each item of furniture is made by hand and started as soon as possible.  It is our aim to have made and sent out your item as soon as we can; please check our about me page for our current lead time.   Payment or communication should be made within 3 days of the sale.

Delivery Information

We use a national company called Pallet Force to distribute our furniture.  Each order is carefully packaged using card corners, bubble wrap and cling wrap.  The furniture is then securely strapped to a pallet or half pallet depending on size and then couriered to your address.  We will notify you which day we are going to send the item and you need to allow 48 hours for delivery (although sometimes they can deliver in 24).  There is a number that you can ring for more delivery information about your pallet delivery time 01271 326400.

Every pallet is carefully packaged and seen onto the van.  Once you take delivery of your item it is your responsibility to check that the goods have arrived safely before signing the docket.

You will need to carefully cut through the plastic straps with scissors and unwrap your parcel; you will also be left with the pallet!

This price includes all packaging.

Please ask us for delivery costs if outside of England and we will accurately quote you.

There is no charge if you wish to pick up the items yourself and come to our workshop in North Devon.

Returns Policy

We offer a full 7 day money back guarantee which covers the full price paid for the item excluding delivery charges.  We can arrange for the item to be picked up and returned to us within this 7 day period.  Once the furniture has been returned in the same condition it left our workshop in then a refund will be made to you.  All refunds are after all delivery charges on the item have been taken off.

In the unlikely event that your item/s arrive damaged then we will arrange for the entire pallet to be returned to us for assessment.  If the items have been damaged in transit then we will replace the items and send replacements out as soon as we can.  We will then pursue the delivery company for our reimbursement.  We cannot pursue any claims for furniture which has been damaged by the purchaser in unwrapping the items or for goods being left out in the rain once signed for. You will appreciate therefore that it is very important that you are at home when the delivery is made to make a decision whilst the delivery team are still there.
