The material in the pack enables anyone aged 15+ or more to build a fully functional hot air engine. The finished machine demonstrates the principle of a hot air engine.

The heating of the glass, using solid fuel tablets, is quite safe. All critical parts are ready finished to ensure success. The very detailed 20 page instruction booklet makes completion of this project possible in a step by step manner. Among the techniques experienced are, drilling, fitting and testing. The base size is 5 1/2” (140mm) x 5 1/2” (140mm) height 4” (90mm)1 when made up. The strict safety guidelines shown in the instructions should be adhered to for this project.©
