On offer is this rare and unusual souvenir coin and stamp set.

Following the abdication of Edward VIII his younger brother, Prince Albert took the name George, the name of his father, when he became king. One of his first acts was to declare that the date of his coronation would be 12th May 1937, the day that his brother had originally to have been crowned.

The display contains the coronation commemorative crown and the commemorative British postage stamp.

The crown is in Fine (or better) condition and the stamp is in mint condition as issued.

This item is new/mint and is housed in a display protection case but can be removed for framing if so desired.
