Kensitas Silk Flower 1st Series Small Ladys Slipper 25



Description

These delightful silk cigarette cards were issued in 1934/35 by cigarette manufacturer J.Wix & Sons of London.  The 1st Series was issued in late 1934 and comprised of 60 different flowers, which were available in two sizes.  The smaller size were found in packets of 10 Kensistas cigarettes and measure approximately 3.9cms x 6.8cms (folder size), the larger version (known as medium size) measure 5.5cms x 7.6cms (folder size) and were issued in packets of 20 Kensitas cigarettes.

All silk cards and folders sold in this shop are in excellent condition, and come suitably packed in a plastic sleeve with a stiffener.
