Kensington Pottery art deco milk jug and sugar bowl This lot comprises a pottery milk jug and sugar bowl. Both pieces are covered in and out with a sponged creamy mottled pale orange brown glaze and hand painted with brown and orange zig zag patterns and pale green turquoise leaves on an orange brown background. Maker – The base is stamped in black Kensington Ware England and a Staffordshire knot with the letters KPH which puts the pottery in Hanley and dates the pieces to 1922-37. The jug is cm high, cm diameter body, the bowl is cm high, Condition - Apart from a faint hairline on the rim of both pieces they are in good condition with chips, or repairs. The jug is 8.3 cm high, 8.3 cm diameter, the bowl is 5.6 cm high, 7.5 cm diameter top, and 6.3 cm diameter base.
