Here is my listing for my Kawasaki 550, i have owned this two month, the reason i am selling this is because i cant master riding this, i have never owned a stand up so i thought lets give it a go, but now im going to get a bike type ski, im too tall with no balance
I bought this ski off Ebay, it was bought two months ago in good condition and is still in good condition, here is the description from that auction
As you can see a yellow Kawasaki 550 Jet Ski, its history is not know! however its a ski I bought for spares. On first inspection we decided it must have been submerged in salt water as the engine mounts and engine belly pan were rotten! However on stripping it down this was proved to be incorrect, as the engine insides was/are mint, and the electronics box looked like it had never been seperated and again was/is mint. so at worst has just had salt water in the bottom!
It was decided it was too good to be used for spares, so we decided to restore it, and sell it on in it,s own right. So you find your self with a yellow has to be said VGC hull though got marks on it you would expect for its year! however we feel in good enough condition not to respray. The engine has been removed as above serviced and refitted on a ReCon Engine plate with replaced mounts ( see pics) Brand new spark plugs fitted along with a new choke cable and throttle cable! The old exhaust was also scrap! so we fitted an exhaust thats mint to the resotration. Water box, petrol tank all ok cleaned and re fitted along with a decent battery and a K and N Air filter to bring this Ski upto better than average condition. Poss one of the best standard jetskis for its year on ebay!
