KAWASAKI AR50/80 BIG BORE KIT

This kit fit`s all AR80 and would you believe it the AR50 as well

now the 80cc engine has a 6 speed box , the 50cc has a 5 speed but they are the same in all other respects and will fit in either bike.

the AR50 runs between `85 - 94

the AR80 runs between `85 - 90

both bikes have the same stroke 41.6mm

the new bore size is 53mm giving 91.8cc for both engines

49cc & 78.47cc ............quite an increase

you may have to re-jet but that will depend on your exhaust,check the engine power through the rev range whilst on the road, and stop the engine at certain constant speeds using the kill switch and check the plug colour. i can supply carb jets at £3.00 each+ postage where applicable

this kit will make a big difference to both bikes

The kit includes the barrel , piston , pin , clips and the piston rings (which are in the bore in the picture) gaskets and head studs

the kit is made in taiwan by a well known piston manufacturer whose products end up in many different branded boxes

the top ring is a standard keystone type , which is much more robust than the dykes type that is found on some other kits , the overall quality is very good , set it up right and you will get good power and good reliability.
