Kawasaki 2001 kx65 kx 65 motocross bike and riding kit

For Sale my sons Kawasaki KX 65 2001 and some of his riding equipment. This is an ideal opportunity to get into motocross for a child as safely and cheaply as possible my advice would be to stay away from the chinese bikes and buy a genuine motocross machine). Would suite a child from 6-10. For sale my sons KX 65 2001 and some of his riding gear. The reason for sale is that he's outgrown the bike, and some of his equipment, and moved up to the 85 cc class. The bike is a 2001 model and we've owned the bike for two years. The bike is well maintained, with no hidden problems to worry about but is an eight year old bike and has the battle scars to prove it - the frame would require a respray to eliminate all the marks!! engine - was recently replaced, 4 hours ago with a reconditioned unit which included replacing the piston, rings etc. the engine has no adverse knocking or smoking, pulls cleanly and is smooth through the gears. suspension - progressive and smooth, no oil leaks or bearing movement. Brakes - new front pads, full brake fluid flush. cosmetics - frame has scrapes and boot marks and there are scuffs on the plastics. I have maintained the after every ride including the usual air filter clean and oil and gearbox oil change, and radiator flush. The bike also has some spares - expansion chamber, spare used plastics. Riding equipment - Helemt - Lazer MX6 XS 53-54 cms small chips and scrapes but never been in an accident. Top - Fox 180 kids XL in green - used condition, no rips or tears but does have racing number name on the back (covered by rooster guard). Fox 180 pants, match the top, no rips or tears in good condition size 26 inches. UFO Rooster guard some scrapes. Answer motocross boots, white, used condition with all buckles working, good tread cost £100 new, size us 4, uk 3. The equipment would have cost £300 new!! I also have, on a separate listing the old engine (cracked casing, reconditioned beadblasted crank cases and a new kawasaki barrel, gasket set) ready for someone who wants to build a spare engine!!
