  This auction is for a brand new book titled 'Katori Shinto-ryu' Warrior Tradition which is a Republished and updated version of the famous(but impossible to buy) bible of Japanese kenjutsu-'The Deity and the Sword' . In Paperback and brand new, By Otake Risuke sensei and a staggering 317 pages long. This book is a wonderfull insight in to most aspects of Iaido, kenjutsu and strategy, as well as being a manual of Katori Shinto-ryu-Japans oldest extant koryu. The book covers many aspects of KSR including the more esoteric areas of spells and magic but does concentrate on Kenjutsu pairforms and iaijutsu kata. The insites in to sword blade choice are also interesting even suggesting hamon types for effectiveness in combat!
