0-10 Number Fan Teaching Resource

Great fun for children to use as the fan is strong and colourful. Instead of the same child calling out or giving the answer quickly, each child can have the opportunity to respond in their own time without any pressure. In my classroom I use these fans, allowing some thinking time and then I count to 3 and the children raise their fans! I can then see who has understood and who may need extra support.

This listing is for 1 fan approximately 11.5cm long and 4cm wide (at the widest point).

Each fan is printed onto thin card, laminated and carefully cut out meaning the item is strng and durable. Each finger of the fan is attached to a small metal ring allowing the fan to spread out and a finger to be chosen easily.

As an added extra the fingers are colour coordinated to help the children with their number bonds for 10.
