This covers up to $100. Request U.S. registered rate if value exceeds $100.
Insurance, if desired, (in ADDITION to shipping) to U.S. destinations is $1.50. Insurance to international destinations(in ADDITION to shipping) is $3 & IS REQUIRED. I have had to institute this due to the number of undelivered international shipments. Insurance is provided by a private party (not the postal service). Insurance rates quoted cover up to $100. Request U.S. destinations rate if over $100.
All shipments are carefully & securely packed. I am not responsible for uninsured or non registered mail or mail that does not arrive or arrives in damaged condition. I strongly recommend registration or insured mail as a safeguard. If you pay for registered or insured mail & the letter does not arrive or arrives in damaged condition, contact me so I can advise what has to be done to file a claim. If a claim is filed for you, reimbursement (ONLY for the value of the item(s) purchased and does NOT include the shipping, registration &/or insurance charge) will be made as soon as I receive payment from the Post Office or the Insurance Company, not before.
