The Konica Z-UP 140 Super is a great little compact camera, accepting a wide range of 35mm films. These are easily available, and will be for many years to come. A free film is included for you to try the camera out for yourself (see below). The camera is in very good condition, and comes with soft case and strap.

The lens is a 38-140mm - a very long range, suitable for many types of photography. Focusing is automatic from 0.8m (2.6 feet) to infinity, and the camera sets the distance for you when you press the shutter release slightly. Focus lock for off-centre subjects. Fully automatic (program) exposure, where the camera selects the shutter speed and aperture required from 3 seconds to 1/280th. This means that the camera can be used under a very wide range of conditions, with no extra manual settings required. Film speeds are set automatically using DX coding with most films, from ISO 25 to 3200.

An electronic flash is built in, and enables you to take pictures in low light conditions without worrying about camera shake. The flash switches on automatically when it's needed but can be switched on and off manually, so you can also use it for fill-in flash in daylight. Anti-red eye feature to reduce red eye in your pictures. The optical viewfinder provides a bright and clear image of the subject for simple and accurate framing. Auto focus, camera shake and flash warnings provided. Film advance is motorised, and the camera will load the film automatically, wind on after each shot and then rewind at the end of the film. Mid roll rewind is possible.

Extra features include lens cover and shutter lock, self timer, backlight exposure compensation, night view portrait mode and tripod socket. Power saving feature turns off camera when not being used. Power is supplied by 1x CR123A lithium batteries (included). The camera is compact and lightweight at only around 120x68x55mm and 290g, making it ideal to carry around at all times.

All features work properly, and the controls work smoothly and positively. Cosmetically, the camera's in very good condition, with minimal signs of use including surface scratches here and there, and some harmless dust specks in the viewfinder. The case is also in fine condition.
