How to find Donington Moto Store

Our shop is ‘in the shadow’ of the Donington Park Race Circuit. We are about ½ mile from Donington Park, through the traffic lights and take the 2nd turn right (alongside 'The Turks Head' public house) into Donington's main shopping street, Market Street/Borough Street (one-way); at the end of this street turn right and immediately right again into Clapgun Street (one-way). Donington Moto is in the 1st building on the left, opposite a free car park but we also have parking facilities 'through the archway' for motorcycles only. Our entrance is in the courtyard (accessed through the archway) and we have circa 1700 sq ft of display area, facilities, etc.

What we do

Our main aim is to be able to offer fellow bikers the best possible deals and we will focus on providing the best service to our customers that we are capable of, we will aim to post orders out within 24 hours of order confirmation/payment.

We welcome feedback from customers and we will always take a view as fellow bikers wherever we possibly can.

Our shop is open Monday to Saturday between the core hours of 10:00am to 4:00pm but we are usually at the terminals from about 8:00am and often until midnight!!

Payment
We PREFER PayPal. For other payment methods please check the ebay listing payment options or call our shop. All payments must be received within 5 days of the close of auction. Winners from outside the UK must use PayPal only. We are VAT registered in the UK - Regn No. 930 9797 84

Shipping
We process orders at 0900 daily for paid for items from the previous day. We always try to include other completed orders up to the point when posting occurs - hence the many comments in our feedback about fast delivery! Please contact us if you would like us to use a delivery service different to the standard method(s) quoted.

Items up to 2.0kg - UK Mainland, IOW and NI

The minimum postage rate quoted for an item is via Royal Mail (2nd class/standard parcels). Further options are available should the buyer prefer a 'signed for' delivery. Royal Mail carries insurance cover up to a maximum claim value of £36.00 and courier deliveries carry insurance cover up to a maximum claim value of £50.00. The buyer can opt to insure for the full item value (should the value exceed £36.00) by paying for the optional insurance quoted.

Items above 2.0kg and below 26.0kg - UK Mainland except Higlands and Islands

All items in this category are despatched via courier on a 1-2 business day basis. The cost escalates should next day delivery be required - please call the shop or use the ebay messaging facility for cost advice should you require this. Our experience is that the majority of items sent with the 1-2 day service arrive the next business day. Courier deliveries are tracked and carry insurance cover up to a maximum claim value of £50.00. The buyer can opt to insure for the full item value (should the value exceed £50.00) by paying for the optional insurance quoted.

Items above 26.0kg

Please contact us using the ebay messaging facility or by telephone to obtain the best available shipping cost.

The cost for delivery to these destinations for items weighing below 2.0kg (including packaging) can be obtained from the Royal Mail website - http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump2?catId=400023&mediaId=11200122 - please do not use this link for items weighing above 2.0Kg at which point this service becomes too expensive. Click on the PRICE FINDER option, then choose the OVERSEAS option and enter the item weight in KG's. The next screen will require your location. The final screen will display the posting options and the cost. Please note the insurance value vs the item value and ensure that you opt for additional insurance cover if required.

The cost for delivery of items weighing above 2.0kg (and below 26.0Kg) is best obtained from - http://www.interparcel.com/ - a number of options (where possible) will be made available but we have found that DHL EuroPlus is the best value, but it is not always an available option. Again, please note the insurance value vs the item value and ensure that you opt for additional insurance cover if required.

Late Deliveries - Lost Post - Damaged Items - We cannot be held responsible for late or non-delivery by the buyers chosen delivery service - we keep proof of postage for all Royal Mail despatched items and will supply this to any buyer who needs to make a claim with Royal Mail for any lost or damaged item. We are happy to confirm the date and time of posting from our postal records prior to a buyer being able to declare an item lost to Royal Mail. All courier despatched items can be tracked online and any claim for damage or non-delivery will have to be made though us for these courier despatches. We can only supply a refund or item replacement once the courier service has re-imbursed us.

The UK Royal Mail service state that a delivery cannot be declared lost until 16 days after the last due delivery date for the service used (e.g. if the Royal Mail service used quotes 2 to 5 working days then you cannot submit a claim until 21 working days after the item was posted). Please note that it is often worthwhile contacting your local sorting office who may have information on a late delivery parcel.

Terms of Sale/ Returns
Returns are only accepted when an item has been misrepresented (the Buyer pays shipping fees). Unfortunately, due to the nature of the products and for safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot take returns on helmets, clothing or footwear; for other items you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of the item. The cost of the item minus shipping and handling and eBay/paypal fees will be refunded. THE ITEM MUST BE IN THE SAME CONDITION AS WHEN SHIPPED and will be inspected by the Seller prior to issuing a refund.
