Please note:

1.        UK bidders may pay with PayPal, personal cheques or postal orders.

2.        International bidders must pay with PayPal. There are no other payment methods I accept, so if you do not have PayPal, PLEASE DO NOT BID!

3.        All my auctions start at 99p – and I will not end them early when people contact me to make offers. The auctions run until someone bids. That’s the spirit of eBay!

4.        All my items have been pre-owned by me – unless stated, they are not brand new. Most are in fine condition, so please make sure you’ve read the description if you’re a collector looking for mint condition items only!

5.        Postage costs take into account not just the stamps put on, but packing materials, my time, travel to the Post Office, etc. Just like when you go to a restaurant, you don’t just pay the same amount for your meal that the restaurant paid for the food – I’ve spent time and effort listing, photographing, describing, packing and sending before you even get the item, let alone the fees I pay when I sell something or the original cost of the item. Postage charges are always clearly marked on the auction right from the start, and are never excessive, so if you aren’t happy to pay the amount, or you’re going to complain about it later, PLEASE DO NOT BID!

6.        I will only respond to queries through My eBay (via the ‘Contact Seller’ button), not through emails. This applies to any post-sale queries as well – this is to ensure all queries I am dealing with are genuine! It is both for your and my safety.

7.        I’m not a business – I have a full-time job and I’m doing this because I want to clear my house and I don’t want to throw things away that other people might want. Sometimes work gets busy, and I can’t reply to eBay messages immediately – if that happens, I ask you to be patient. I always reply, but it can take me a short while because I’m not online, doing eBay, 24 hours a day! Sometimes it can take me up to a week after you’ve paid to get items posted, so I ask you to be patient.

8.        Please don’t email me to ask why your item hasn’t arrived when you paid for it the night before. I’m not Houdini.

9.        If the item doesn’t arrive, I will provide you with a dated email from the Post Office online, proving that I have purchased postage to your address in your name. I will make a claim for a lost item, and if the Royal Mail grant it, I will refund your money. I will not pay for items lost by the Royal Mail – this is a condition of sale. If you do not agree with this, DO NOT BID.

10.     Generally I do not accept returns, as all items have a photograph and have been described in the auction accurately – I can’t be expected to refund what you have spent on the item if it turns out you’ve made a mistake. If you don’t know what you’re bidding on, please contact me with any specific queries.

11.     If I am willing to make a goodwill refund once an item has been returned to me, I will only refund the cost of the item itself – not the postage I have spent sending it to you, nor the cost of the postage for it to be returned.

12.     If you don’t like the sound of any of these points, please don’t bid – it will work out better for us both in the long run!
