It is capable of connecting simultaneously to up to up to 51 satellite channels and has a solid working time of 10hrs.

Only about 10-15% of the new devices will have GPS built in, e.g. the 8800 BlackBerry, but all the Pearl and older models have no GPS.
Owners of hand held devices can now easily and cheaply (some for less then $10) obtain new styles of maps and mapping programs that can be downloaded directly onto their mobile phone, PDA or Laptop. These new maps can aid the visitor to find their way in a new city, and in the U.K. even giving them detailed maps for country walks.
