KAWASAKI H1 H1A 500 TRIPLE relisted due to ebay rules

Nice winter project for someone ( I have too many projects, hence reason for sale)

I bought this bike earlier this year, it was not running properly at the time and was fitted with expansion chambers and filters.

Fresh fuel, new plugs and connecting the throttle cables to the slides in two carbs seemed to help a lot !!! starts and runs nice now.

I searched for months and managed to find an Airbox that has been replated with filter, a good set of inlet rubbers ( 3 spare cracked ones also) and all the necessary clips and screws as shown in picture 8. I also found a full set of standard exhausts and a main stand. The exhausts came from Colorado so chrome is very good and pipes are solid with no cracks or welding, but there are some dents mainly to right hand side pipe and rear of center pipe.

Paintwork looks original so some scratches to tank and panels but nice enough to be used as is. The seat base is excellent and it has been recovered.

It has mostly grey cables, original Takasago rims (good chrome not perfect), original plug leads, original key plus a Nos spare key.

The bike was imported from Minnesota last year and I have the Certificate of Title and import papers.

Needs a rear tyre ( oversize tyre fitted at moment) fork seals, some attention to brakes (adjustment or relining). All lights and horn work ok.

 If you want a concours bike you'll have to spend money on chrome and paint but could be put through MOT, registered and riden as it is with a little time and money spent on it.

My starting price is very low but I have a realistic reserve price ( bear in mind that a very similar H1A reached £3775 recently, that also needed some work so mine won't be going cheap I'll sell something else first)

Cash on collection is ok, but I would require a £100 deposit at end of auction within 24hrs
