Pineapple Vase

Simple, a veritable tour-de-force. Created in the 1990's for the Carnival Series.

Technicals: size approx. 17cms diameter, 19cms high.

Signed with incised, [ Kate Malone ] to the base.

Condition; amazingly, appears damage free. Have gone over it with a powerful magnifier and could find no post pottery flaws. There are some rough and sharp edges but they are all glaze covered. It has been used as intended and even after washing, there is some residual dirt/staining in some of the internal crevices.

What really lifts this out of the ‘ordinary’; is the intensity of the modelling and colour. Just so dynamic. A veritable, statement piece.

Kate, a CPA Fellow, has works in the V&A and an international reputation, so this is a rare opportunity to pick up a marvellous item.

#  Payment: Paypal, cash or cheques in UK.  Paypal only for international buyers. 

#  Delivery: UK postage, Royal Mail’s Special Delivery with insurance and tracking is the mode used.

Unlike most ebay sellers, I accept that, (under English law), it is the seller's responsibility to deliver, hence the signed-for delivery, and, therefore, I will make claims for any delivery transgressions.  Please do not ask for any non-tracked or uninsured delivery methods. Customers are always welcome to arrange their own shipping or courier collection.

#  Damage: If items are damaged,  photograph the damage and packaging together. Always retain packaging for inspection. No claim (and therefore, refund), can be made if these instructions are not followed. 

#  Returns: I will accept returns over a 28 day period but expect to notified within seven days of receipt of the goods. Buyer pays return postage and accepts responsibility for returning in original condition.  If the item is lost or damaged in shipping, then you still own it and you must make your own insurance claims.
