Measuring 1.25" long in original limestone matrix of 2.5" x 1.75" x 1.5", this is an exceptional specimen of this sort, one of the best you are ever going to see. Stunning eye detailing. All 100% original, genuine, and fully intact. The matrix also exhibits good geometry and provides a solid flat base for this piece.
Prepared to a very high standard. An extremely rare specimen of this large eyed Trilobite. From the Lower Devonian, Haragan Formation, Coal County, Oklahoma. The Kainops Raymondi is a member of the Order Phacopida, family Phacopidae. Sometimes referred to as "Paciphacops", but differs by a large number of eye facets. Excellent eye detail. This is a genuine Bob Carroll specimen, and is supplied with original Black Cat Mountain packaging.
