The Defier-miSOUL Tech™ from K-Swiss is the most versatile tennis shoe on the market today. With interchangeable insoles customized for speed or comfort, it's up to you how these shoes will feel and perform.

Durability is achieved with an Aosta® 7.0 rubber outsole, DragGuard™ zones in the toe and heel, molded DuraWrap XD around the toe and along the medial side.

Traction comes from a tennis specific, multi-court surface herringbone tread pattern that wraps up on the toe and sidewalls.

Support and stability are provided by a TPU shank, external TPU heel chassis and an extra high lateral sidewall at the forefoot.

Breathability is achieved by vented medial cut-outs and an open net mesh tongue.

Light 1.0 and Cushion 1.0 interchangeable insoles designed for speed and comfort are included. Syn.

Upper: High abrasion DuraWrap™ XD around the toe and along the medial side greatly increases the durability of the upper. Outstanding breathability is achieved through an air mesh tongue and medial side mesh vents. A molded quarter panel and integrated eye row improves stability.

Midsole: Compression molded EVA provides cushioning and increased comfort. A super strong TPU shank increases torsional support. An external TPU heel chassis and an extra high lateral side wall at the forefoot provide increased stability.

Outsole: A tennis specific multi-surface herringbone traction pattern with Aösta II rubber that wraps up on the toe and side walls provides excellent durability and traction. DragGuard in the heel and toe area provide increased durability in these high wear areas.

Interchangeable Insoles: Versatile cushioning and customized performance are achieved by including two interchangeable, replaceable insoles with the Defier-miSOUL. The Light 1.0 sole is designed for fast days, races and matches. They feature a lightweight k-EVA chassis, an EVA heel wrap for extra support and 270º of impact protection, registration button for proper alignment, TPU spring plate for increased forefoot propulsion and SuperFoam™ cushioning in the heel and forefoot for high energy return and "springy" feel. The Cushion 1.0 sole is for mid to long distance running days and practice days. They feature a lightweight k-EVA chassis, a supportive high density heel wrap, registration button for proper alignment, TPU arch insert and medial post for added stability and Si-18® gel in the heel and forefoot for outstanding comfort and long lasting cushioning.
