This a brand new boxed high performance direct replacement air filter ready to simply remove your old grotty air filter & drop this high performance filter into your existing air box, its tailor made to fit the car above. High performance K&N air filters have been independently tested and results show that paper/foam filters simply cannot match the K&N air flow rates. Even when new the paper/foam filter’s performance drops off sharply when only slightly dirty. These K&N filters flow like new for up to 50,000 miles without cleaning! No other filter flows as much air as a high performance K&N air filter. The extremely large surface area offers little restriction to incoming air. The special gauze-and-screen construction acts to smoothen & straighten the air as it enters your intake system, increasing your engine’s performance. The high performance K&N air filters are engineered to last the life of your engine. When extremely dirty, you simply clean with K&N filter cleaner, reverse flush with water, re-oil with K&N filter oil and reinstall. Except under extremely dusty conditions, the K&N will only need servicing every 50,000 to 100,000 of driving.
