Johnny Tillotson - Don't Tell Me It's Raining (MGM K13738) 1967 U.S. Issue

Born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1939 Johnny Tillotson bought out his first single while still at highschool "Dreamy Eyes" in 1958 which actually grazed the U.S. chart. His first big hit was his sixth single "Poetry In Motion" in 1960 which hit No.1 in the U.K. and No.2 in the U.S., he was never to again achieve this lofty position although five more hits would follow in the U.K. in the following three years. He remained much more popular in his native country and had 26 singles in the U.S. charts and released 16 albums through a forty year plus career. This is his 32nd single released in 1967, it is a U.S.A. import and has an importation drill hole (4mm dia.) through the label. Housed in a plain black paper die-cut sleeve. Large juke-box style spindle hole.

Condition: Record: Near mint. Looks mint, can't see even a surface mark. Plays perfectly. Label: Perfect, except for the importation drill hole. Sleeve: Excellent. Slight bending to the open edge corners.
