A Jay-Be Mercury 3 bunk bed purchased from John Lewis in 2003 for £425.00. The frame is in very good condition with some slight mottling to the paint caused by my daughter sticking stickers onto it. The stickers have been removed and the cleaned surface is smooth and glossy but the colour is slightly uneven.

The mattresses are past their best and if we were keeping the bed we would be replacing them. One is the original, the second a replacement from a few years ago (but now lumpy!) We would be happy to dispose of the mattresses and sell the frame only.

The frame has a ten year guarantee (over three years remaining) Included is the receipt of purchase and the assembly instructions.

It is suitable for children and teenagers alike. The frame is steel, with a silver metallic finish. The bed is very sturdy and the ladder has screw adjustable feet so that there is no wobbling when climbing up to the top.

This item is pick up only due to it's size but we will dismantle it. Payment is cash on pick up or pay pal.

We are located near Uxbridge, Middlesex about 5 mins from the M40/M25 junction

A: Hi The frame inside is 905mm wide x 1935mm long, the mattresses that came with the bad are 900mm x 1900mm Hope that helps Nigel

 Q: can the ladder be move to the right hand side of the bed
A: Hi The picture on the front of the instructions shows the ladder at the other end so I think it would be possible.
