Station: KFWB DJ: Jimmy O' Neill Length: 60 minutes (digitally remastered and placed on CD at our studios here at Rock-it Radio) Remember watching Shindig back in the mid-60's? Jimmy O'Neill was the host of that show, and here he is in that same era as a disc jockey on KFWB in Los Angeles. Compare this to the KHJ vintage of 1966 also available in the Rock-it Radio Store, and you can see that the KFWB format was "stale" in comparison to the "Boss Radio" sound of KHJ. Nevertheless, J.O. was a high profile jock and this is a wonderful nostalgic hour uncut and unedited showing how radio was back in the year 1966. During this time Jimmy O'Neill was also gaining great popularity from the TV Show Shindig that was also airing him at the time as the host. 1.
