Hendrix changed the way the guitar was played in the 60s. He had all the major guitar players of the day looking in awe at exactly what he was doing. The best way to capture his guitar play though was at his live performances. His sonic assaults and attacks on his guitar strings hypnotized and frightened the audience. His studio albums were works of art but his live work showed the master at work. Here then are 13 songs from his 1968 Winterland concert. This is a copy of the CD release from 1987 of that concert.

An official re-issue of the original CD by Polygram Records, it's an exact copy of the music from the original recording in CDO format and uses the same graphic for the cover. See www.thedisckiosk.com/cdo.htm for more details.
