Microsorum pteropus is widely known as "Java Fern" and is found growing all over Asia.

It is one of the least demanding of all plants, making it an excellent beginner''s choice. The roots can be buried but not the rhizome, otherwise the plant will rot.

This plant is commonly tied to wood or stones and can be placed anywhere in an aquarium.
