Sony PS3 Console - JAPANESE 40GB VERSION - please be aware of this before bidding. A Japanese console can be fully operated in English and can used with the UK PSN store.

Model number - CECHH00 in Satin Silver (The Satin Silver version was only available in Japan as a limited edition and is the only way to match your existing silver hifi/av set up and avoid the dust, scratches and fingerprints of the black gloss variant).

Console is already in the UK hence no unexpected custom charges can be incurred.

Region A Blu-Ray (only plays Blu-Rays labelled Region A or Region Free) - THIS WILL NOT PLAY STANDARD UK BLU-RAYS MARKED AS REGION B!

Region 2 (NTSC) DVD - THIS WILL NOT PLAY PAL DVDS!

Games - plays all PS3 discs using an HD/HD Ready TV. I cannot guarantee that all (non-NTSC) games will work when used with a standard definition TV. This model does NOT support Playstation and Playstation 2 disc playback.

Please note that I obviously cannot guarantee that every game works, however every disc I have purchased and every download title I got from the PSN UK store worked ok with the exception of a few well documented PlayStation-Eye titles. 

The console has the original 40gb HDD (no backward compatibilty and reduced usb inputs) and has been fully reformatted ready for a new user including the latest firmware version 3.01

Everything is in 100% mint condition - fully boxed with all supplied accessories, note that the supplied power lead is the Japanese 2 pin variant. The console itself is 100% mint.

Includes a free budget HDMI cable and a free budget IEC kettle lead  which you can upgrade if required.
