Old Japanese 950 Sterling ~ Shamisen Musical Instrument ~ Salt & Pepper shaker set in the original wood box.  Terrifically crafted with no detail left out!  Set is in Unused wonderful condition with No corrosion, dents, breaks, or missing parts.  They could use a gently polishing as they are a bit tarnished.  Each is stamped on the neck Sterling 950.  True set with one having 5 pour holes & the mate has 6 pour holes.  Each has 3 strings & each has a small door on their backsides for filling with condiment.  Each door opens & closes easily.  They measure just a tad under 4 1/2" in length.  They must have been given as a gift as someone wrote on the inside wood lid, in pencil " These are Japanese Guitars - Name: "Shamesen" Played mostly by "Geisha Girls" Love You! "  The box measures 5 1/16" x 3 1/2" x 1".  I am sure you will be very pleased with these gems.
