This was issued by the Miyagi Prefecture Fire Brigade Association
and is described on the reverse as a Second Class Prize Medal.
1.456 inches in diameter and enamel

The central design is a classic early pattern fire brigade emblem with crossed axes,
all within a stylized cherry blossom

This Medal has Ribbon and two ways of types of the bar to hang
This is a Ribbon type.

Since early fire fighting was under management of the police,
it is an emblem of the police.
