Moonraker (1979)

The 11th Bond film takes Roger Moore into space with a budget of $30 million (more than the first 8 films combined), Moonraker broke all box office records for a Bond film.

 

When a space shuttle is hijacked in mid-air en route to London, Bond investigates multi millionaire Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale) with the help of Astronaut and CIA Agent Holly Goodhead (Lois Chiles).

 

Bond discovers that Drax has built a giant space station which is invisible to radar and plans to repopulate the Earth after first unleashing a powerful toxin!

 

After disposing of Drax’s henchman Chang he is again pitted against Jaws (Richrd Kiel) the only Bond villain ever to return (apart from Blofeld, although Blofeld was never played by the same actor twice!)
