Since the restoration of the ‘Patten’ roadster, it has been well used, and indeed, I have fond memories of the car framed in my rear view mirror, as we travelled in convoy from LiNe to Arras on the E’s first outing to France. Completion of the Series 3 Vi 2 saw its return to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, where it forms part of the Trust’s valuable collection of historic cars.
This book, with its informative text and numerous colour illustrations, will become a must for anyone contemplating work on their E-Type, from minor mechanical repairs to a full restoration. |
