This JVC GR-D260 Mini DV Digital Video Camcorder is as new, and comes with over £50 worth of accessories. It’s only been used for around two hours in total (indoors) since new and is in full working order. I briefly used it in a training situation, so also bought an external microphone and mounting bracket – this dramatically improves the sound quality as it cuts out the built-in microphone which is a bit prone to picking up noises from the camera and the operator (though this is only important if you need good reproduction of voice/music, as I did).

This camcorder features 25x optical zoom, a Live Slow function, noise reduction system, Data Battery (whatever that is), a built in light to illuminate what you’re filming, plus all the normal camcorder facilities and options. It also has a still camera facility that records your pictures onto a SD Memory Card. Although it records onto Mini DV tapes, you can playback your filming direct to a TV (or fast download your filming straight from the camera to a PC, DVD player, etc) without even removing the tape.
