This deck allows you to copy to any of the media, from VHS to DVD or HDD to DVD or HDD to VHS

It will not allow you to copy copyrighted matterials - only things you have recorded from your own camcorder or from the Broadcast TV

This deck does not have Freeveiw DVB capabilities, but will work with a Freeview Box

It's a great bit of kit if you want to copy your recording from VHS to DVD, but also want to be able to record TV shows onto the HDD and then transfer them to DVD to keep
