THE ARTIST IS JULES CHERET THE "FATHER OF THE LITHOGRAPH" AND MENTOR TO TOULOUSE LAUTREC.  LITHOGRAPH IS FROM LES AFFICHES ILLUSTRE. 1890'S AUTHENTIC LITHOGRAPH PRINTED UNDER THE DIRECTION OF JULES CHERET WHILE HE WAS ALIVE.  EXCELLENT CONDITION.  VERY VALUABLE

Paper is cotton or wood fiber. It is pretty sturdy and thick not tissue thin. There is no foxing or stains. The paper is in good condition with just normal signs of aging.

This is a mini lithograph with the paper dimensions of 9.25 x 12.5 the image is 5.5 x 9 inches. I also have an authentic Jules Cheret outdoor poster from the 1880's that is about 6 feet tall of "Les Mysteres de Paris by Eugene Sue". I am in the process of having it repaired and remounted to canvas. I will be selling that one for several thousand dollars. I have a few other mini lithos available as well. One is in poor condition that needs matting to cover tears on the edges and the other is a mini "Les Mysteres de Paris" which is in good condition.
