Joseph Hocking, 1860-1937, author and clergyman preacher, born in Cornwall, son of the overseer of a tin mine, brother to the authors Silas and Salome Hocking, and father of the mystery writer Anne Hocking.
His novels include Cornish stories, mystery and crime, war, and pioneering historical romance.

This is an undated 1920s of Hocking's novel of Cornish Life and romance.

In good condition with slight marks to binding, pages are clean all complete.
