We have had this beautiful hall runner for just over a year, a temporary solution in an inside hallway.

We bought it in John Lewis and you can see it was called a ROYAL KESHAN Herati rug, made by the Hand Made Carpets Limited from 100% New Zealand wool.

Similar rugs are now being sold in JL as ROYAL HERITAGE HERATI rugs - you can check them out on their website or in their stores.

It measures 108 x 27 inches (274 x 69 cm) and is a lovely rich wine base colour (on my computer the colours are shown pretty accurately). The pile is soft, springy and dense.

I will post it Royal Mail Standard Parcels, which will cost £10 and take 3 - 5 days (they say), but if you want it more quickly I can look at other options. If you live anywhere near Edinburgh you can pick it up and avoid postage, of course.

It is completely free of any stains or signs of wear, as I hope you can see in the pictures.

When we bought it it cost £171.00 and the same (or similar) pattern and size runners cost that currently in John Lewis.

A lovely warm welcome for visitors at Christmas, and the colour is right too!
